Continues to write the history of timekeeping from the Swiss town of Schaffhausen, where it was founded in 1868 by the American watchmaker Florentine Ariosto Jones. The second one, created to commemorate the 125 anniversary of the company, is the most complicated watch in the world with an automatic mechanism that accompanies calendar and phases of tuna perpetual, Rattrapante chronograph mechanism, minute repeater and tourbillon. The unique showcase of IWC also provides collections as bright as the Pilot and the Ingenieur. Automatic chronograph Da Vinci opens a new chapter in the history of the IWC, also marked by masterpieces like the Portuguese, the mechanic and aviation chronograph Porsche Design line, where steel is replaced by titanium.
Among the latest IWC Mark XII include the platinum blue, presented at Basel 97 and developed in a limited edition of 500 numbered copies. In the tradition of the famous Da Vinci, the Swiss manufacturing now presents two new lines of functional watches for everyday use: the automatic and chronograph. Also, the new Portuguese version incorporates a chronograph movement with automatic winding, but Rattrapante mechanism, available in rose gold, white or steel.
